This eight-hour course is designed to increase the attendee's knowledge of the hazards associated with confined space entry. The course covers definition of a confined space, hazards, legislation, roles and responsibilities, personal protective equipment, air monitoring and rescue.

Hour 6 - Rescue Equipment Types Harness Fitting Demo
Hour 7 - Scenario problem solving
Hour 7 - Involves applying course info to complete hazard assessment and permit working in groups to an actual scenario
Hour 8 - Written exam and closing remarks/student comments
